Under this scholarship program, the Government aims to provide financial help of INR 30,000 to all the females who come from financially wekaer households so that they’ll be able to pursue higher education without being dependent on anyone or being a burden on their parents. The financial amount will be provided in two instalments annually and will be directly sent to the students’ bank accounts.

Objective of Karnataka Deepika Student Scholarship
The main objective behind this Karnataka Deepika Student Scholarship is to empower all the girl students who come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Under this scholarship program, the Government aims to provide a financial benefit of INR 30,000 annually, provided in two instalments of INR 15,000 each. The financial amount provided under this will be sent directly to the students’ bank accounts by the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) Process.
